Overview
Built in 1862, Switzerland's first jail hotel was used as Lucerne's central prison until autumn 1998. Today you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Jailhotel Löwengraben and the Strichpunkt Club.
All rooms have private bathrooms with showers and hardwood flooring.
The hotel is located right in the heart of the historical old town of Lucerne, only 5 to 10 minutes' walk from the railway station and attractions such as the Kapellbrücke Bridge and the Bucherer Watch Shop.
Guests can have fun and dance in the Strichpunkt Club on site, open from Thursday to Saturday night.
